Dried Porcini Mushrooms, 50g Bag

Low stock! Only 7 left

The dried porcini mushrooms from our valleys represent the pinnacle of local culinary tradition.
Every step, from harvest to preparation, is carried out with passion and dedication. In the picturesque Alta Valtaro area, our expert pickers deliver the mushrooms to our laboratory. Here, our expert mycologist performs meticulous checks to ensure their quality and food safety.
Once the mushrooms have passed the rigorous mycological inspection, the sorting phase begins. The ripest mushrooms are selected for drying. This expertly executed process preserves the unmistakable aroma of Valtaro Porcini Mushrooms, giving the product a unique depth of flavor. These mushrooms come exclusively from the Alta Valtaro, a region characterized by a variety of microclimates and soils that give the mushrooms a rich and authentic flavor. The forests, which extend from altitudes of 500 meters to 1,500-1,600 meters, are home to unique flora and fauna, thus contributing to the extraordinary quality of our Dried Porcini Mushrooms.

Conservation

We recommend storing dried porcini mushrooms in the freezer, which prevents the product from aging and preserves its flavor and aroma. For example, you can place all the dried porcini mushrooms in a single container in the freezer (without the risk of the product sticking, as the mushrooms are dry). Then, as needed, remove the porcini mushroom slices and, after 10 minutes (the time it takes for them to rehydrate), they are ready to be cooked.
