Conservazione
Conservazione
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light, moisture and heat sources.
To best preserve the product’s aroma, flavour and quality, we recommend storing dried porcini mushrooms in the freezer. The cold slows down the product’s natural ageing process and helps protect it, especially during warmer periods, when incorrect storage may encourage the appearance of larvae or food moths.
As the mushrooms are dry, they do not stick together: you can also place them in a single container or in a well-sealed bag. When needed, simply take out the quantity required, close the package tightly again and leave the slices at room temperature for a few minutes before rehydrating and using them in cooking.
Consigli d'Uso
Consigli d'Uso
Before use, rehydrate the dried porcini mushrooms in lukewarm water for about 20–30 minutes. Once rehydrated, rinse them gently and use them in cooking after cooking them thoroughly.
They are suitable for risottos, pasta dishes, sauces, polenta, fillings and main courses. The soaking liquid can be carefully filtered and used to add more aroma to your preparations.
The product must be consumed after cooking, as indicated on the label.
