What's the best time to visit Valtaro?
As a true Valtarese, or if you prefer, a true mountaineer (I prefer the latter definition I gave myself), my heart leads me to say that any time of year is a good time to come and visit us.
I can definitely say that the best times are spring, summer and autumn.
During this time of year, I recommend you don't miss the 42nd Porcini Mushroom Festival, which will take place on September 16-17 and September 23-24 in Borgotaro. (The full event brochure is attached.)
