What is the best time to visit Valtaro?
As a born-and-bred Valtaro native, or if you prefer a born-and-bred mountain dweller (I prefer the latter definition I gave myself), my heart tells me that all times of the year are good opportunities to come and visit us.
I can undoubtedly say with certainty that the best times are spring, summer, and autumn.
During this period, I advise you not to miss the 42nd Porcini Mushroom Festival, which will take place on September 16th/17th and September 23rd/24th in Borgotaro. (Attached is the complete brochure of the event)
Two weekends dedicated to typical products and many collateral events.
So, if you are free, come and visit the fair, you won't regret it, and if you wish, we await you at our shop at via Nazionale 66 "Bottega del Fungo," which will remain open with continuous hours on both dates.
